he got a virus and he cant open his computer anymore. what should he do

And, how to return his PC to "Factory New" condition.
I do not have a original vista cd it was preinstalled. laptop will not boot

I’ve had a Advent K200 laptop for about 3 years, and it’s become very slow, so I’ve decided that I would do a full system recovery. But in order to do a full system recovery, I need the recovery disc that came with the laptop, but as it happens to be, I’ve lost it. I was wondering if there’s a solution so I could still recover the laptop to factory condition without the recovery disc.

Just select all the files you want to save, organize them and save them manually….

I recently had a virus infect my laptop (damnit) and am using my recovery disk to give it a chance to start from scratch. Problem is, in the middle of running the recovery program, the laptop shuts down without warning. As you can imagine, this is very frustrating.

This may not help, but I once corrupted my "GTA San Andreas" data on my PS2 card on my PS2 system and I have an adapter to hook up my memory card to the PS3 (around $10 @ Game Stop) and I copied the corrupted data t o the PS3 and it actually worked!

Technician said he could recover files from my damaged hard drive from software but leaves it in the raw format .ado file extension. Hopefully there is some software that can convert this back to something that can be opened.
