I wanted to play ps2 games on my ps3 and it said i had to format my harddisk so i did that. But when it was done my trpohies were there but not my save data so im wondering how do i get my save data back?
Once you format your drive its gone, its like burning paper its impossible to reverse well at this point and time.

I hope you had taken back up before formatting your pc if yes then just start tally
select restore from company info which comes up directly if no company is selected or you can go to ALT+F3 if a company is selected,
Select Restore
set destination as your data path (it is already set by default to your data path you dont need to make any changes unless & untill you want to specify an different path)
set source to the path where the backup file is located & press enter
select the companies to be restored

I want to know how to back up game saves ONLY easily on a 4 gb or 16 gb usb flash drive. I have a 40 gb old ps3. I also want to know how to restore the data back onto the ps3 since i’m changing my hard drive.
Connect the flash drive to the ps3, got to save data, highlight the save you want, press triangle and click save. Repeat for the rest of the saves.
I just got a used Toshiba laptop, and it is loaded with data. I want to know how to do a complete system restore so I can get rid of all the other person’s files (whom I got it from). I’ve read other questions and answers, and most of them say I need a special disk that I did not receive. Can I get some help?
If you don’t have a special disk from the manufacturer (Toshiba), then you will need to find the drivers on Toshiba’s website so that you can load them after you format and reinstall Windows. You’ll need video, audio, and network drivers, most likely.

i have saved my contacts in the format of CSV file and i want to recover it,s without using pc suite but my cell can,not support csv file how do i open it plz….
You can only restore anything on your sd ram with out the suite, anything else, suite is needed, if you don’t have it google it and download it.
if my disk got formatted or i cleaned my recycle bin out, how can i get my files back?
If you formatted your disk you will need to see a Data Recovery Specialist.
I restored my operating system using my Gateway Operating system Disc using the save data option. I have my Back up file but cannot restore my documents in the Owner files. I cansee the files, they show the size of disc space but I get "Access Denied Message when I try to open the documents.

Recently, I’ve lost my Nokia mobile(model: nokia 6303 classic). Fortunately or unfortunately, I’ve made a backup of all contacts, and some other data. It has created a backup file with an extension .nbu. Is there any option to recover my contacts, other than connecting a Mobile?
Why not use the nokia PC suite to do that? please refer to the 6303 manual below.

I have XP, which crashed . so I was not able to operate my computer.
Currently I am using Ubuntu-Linux.
I am unable to Open local disk -c
when I try to open it – it says- Cannot Mount Volume.
PLease tell me a way I can get my data form Local Disk -C
the reason why u cannot see your partition in Windows is because you do not have the right to mount windows partition, besides Ubuntu uses the sudo command instead of the traditional su (superuser) command and that limits what u can do.
there are better linux than Ubuntu on the market but go to the Ubuntu forums and ask how to change permission for volumes and users.
