formated my USB stick by mistake looking for a tool to restore my data.?

I formated my USB stick by mistake. What is a good tool that can restore my data on the formated stick ? Help.

If you haven’t done anything with it since formatting it, you can use Testdisk. It’s free, but a little hard to use. If it works, you’ll get all your files exactly as you had them before.

If that doesn’t work, they also have a program called Photorec. Don’t let the name fool you. It can recover photos, videos, office documents, and dozens of others. It will recover as many individual files as it can find, but it won’t know their original file name. So it will give them random names.

  4. It’s just not possible to make a mistake like that because it take several deliberate clicks to do so. You screwed yourself buddy!
