If I jailbreak my iPod touch, and then restore it with iTunes, will the data I have from my apps be deleted?

I want to jailbreak my iPod touch 3rd gen to see what’s it’s like when tethered. But when I restore it will it delete my app data? Like all my saved game progress?

As long as its backed up? No.
However, my phone is soooooo cool jailbroken.

    As long as its backed up? No.

    But if you download any apps while its jailbroken, then those jailbroken apps will be deleted…
