I am not asking free version. I will buy it in India with proper license. Cost is not a factor.
I am already using Stellar Phoenix, Ondata Easy Recovey etc. However all the hard disk crashes can not be recovered by them.

i have already used disk cleanup and defrag multiple times, and it has not worked……so i was wondering what i could manually delete……also i heard something about backup recovery files (clones) could take up extra space just a fyi. *any help would be greatly appreciated*

Deleting ANYTHING on a recovery hard disk is a bad idea, because everything on there is highly compressed. Deleting things you "might not need" may corrupt the whole archive, rendering the recovery disk useless.

If you are that much strapped for space, don’t risk making a 5gb or so disk smaller and break it, just spend $70 and buy a 2tb external hard drive. You’ll never fill it up

How to deal with collection agencies trying to collect after the statue of limitation has past?

Portfolio Recoveries is a bottom=feeder of a collection agency that is trying to force me to pay on a debt after the statue of limitation has passed. This repo bill came way out of left field meanign aI did not know it exist. But it has been over 10 years. Any suggestions? I do not want to turn back the clock on this and these scum bags have now raided my credit report.

"But it has been over 10 years" They can legally try to collect forever. The SOL has passed for them to sue and win (you still have to show up in court). The time period has also expired for them to report to the credit bureaus. This takes away any power they have to encourage you to pay.

Dispute the negative entry with the reporting agencies.. Send the collector a certified letter with return receipt stating that this is not your debt, it is too old to report even if it was your debt per the FCRA and to cease contact about this alleged debt as is your right per the FDCPA. If they don’t comply, file a complaint with the FTC and try to recover the penalties.

BTW: I wouldn’t pay a dime on a debt over 10 years old.

RAID 0 – An error has occurred?

My computer has 2 750GB hard drives in RAID 0. When I went to start it up today, it says that an error has occurred beside one of the disks. It says it it still bootable, but I can’t get the PC to start Windows. Should I just do system recovery and re-install the operating system? What would happen if I used the remove RAID 0 option?

No matter what you do you are going to lose all your files,documents and your OS….After that you would have to build the array again and do a clean install of your OS and all your programs etc….Running raid 1 (mirrored drives)is much safer,but you lose the performance of raid0….

update—-Yes you will lose the partition also…Anything you had on those 2 drives will be wiped out once you break the array down…..

You will have to start all over again….

Help with HP system recovery?

I recently had an issue with one of my hard drives in RAID 0, so I had to order recovery discs from HP and reinstall the operating system. I just finished running the discs, and everything seemed to have completed successfully. After finishing, it instructed me to reboot the computer. When it loaded back up, it didn’t boot windows, just opened a blue HP screen, opened command prompt and started running some codes. After this, it went to a plain yellow screen and shows two little folders with files going across. This screen has been up for about an hour, and I’m starting to get worried. Should I just wait it out? Could a bad hard drive have caused the RAID failure, then somehow survived the recovery and is now causing issues? If that’s the case how do I know which hard drive is bad?

Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.

I badly need to recover my photos but sadly, all the photo recovery software i’ve stumbled upon require me to pay before i can save my photos

Personally I do not believe in free software as it will end up messing my computer with virus and spywares. So I look for cheap and good software. For recovery software, I bought one before, cost me 29 bucks but working very well, and good thing is that it’s one time payment and then it allows me to use forever. Take a look if you do not mind paying 29 bucks to get back your pictures.
