Hard Drive Head Replacement Tools for 50 Cents
How to do your own head replacements and create your own tool for about 50 cents. Sure there are head comb kits but this is a simple method that will work on most types of drives WITHOUT touching the heads themselves. It is a much easier method than hundreds of others I have tried. This is the best.

Yes this works with MultiPlatters just as well. I will post a video of that soon with 4 platters and 8 heads. Works great.
Just so you know, …
Just so you know, this drive was done in a clean room. However, in class we have done recoveries out in the open, being as careful as we can about contaminates getting on the platters, and we have successfully done recoveries. It is important to do the recovery now. It is not Dust and such that is a problem, it is things like Dead Skin off your hands and such that is the issue. Dust will fly off right away when the platters spin up before the heads unmount. Dead skin does not.
