can i do a gamertag recovery on a new xbox 360 hdd and still be able to get the downloads i had.?

if i do a gamertag recover on a new 120gb hdd, will i be able to get the downloaded media i payed for with points on my old hdd and be able to redownload them on my new hdd without paying for them again.
The Xbox Live Marketplace ties all purchases to the gamertag that was used, so you will not have to pay for any purchases a second time to download them again. If you are using the same console, everything will work as before on the new hard drive.
However, if you are using the hard drive on a new console, you will have to do a license transfer to that new console. The steps for completing a license transfer can be found here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/licensemigration/
Keep in mind that if you do need to do a license transfer, you won’t be able to do another one for 12 months.

Yes, you recover your gamertag then go to download history, click on whatever you want to download, and go download again.

yes cause your gamertag comes up when typ in your email and pasword when you sign up for live but you have to typin the same email and pasword

yes your downloads are linked to your gamertag account not to your xbox 360 so you can get them again for free.
