Can I use any Recovery CD to reformat another Computer?

I have a recovery disk for a Optima XP computer but want to reformat another computer. Am I right to just use this disk?
On the CD it says "The software included on this Recovery DVD was pre-installed on your HDD at the factory"

Does that mean anything?

no do not, if u use a recovery cd for one computerand the other computer is a different brand it would not take it and then if it does about half -way through the recovery all ur files will be deleted and an error will come up syaing something so dont use it on anohter computer

  2. this recovery CD is design to work in the old PC, in case there an error happen and u need to reinstall the drivers required to function properly, it won,t work in other PC unless is the same model and follow the same requirement to work

  4. No, don’t so it the recovery CD has specific information on a specific computer brand. The other PC boot system might malfunction once you star up Windows, so don’t do it! That pre-installed software works only with the PC that it came along with
