What are the Best Data Recovery/HDD Recovery Softwares/Techniques?

My best experiences has been with mirrored RAID.
This essentially means that all data is mirrored to another drive. If one of the drives fails then the other drive is there to do the job seamlessly and can function until the faulty drive is replaced.
Most new motherboards support RAID arrays with SATA drives which now make this option open and affordable enough for home users. SATA supports ‘hot-swapping’ which means that you most likely dont even have to shut down your computer to change out the faulty drive!
I personally use SAS drives at RAID 5 through the use of a seperate controller card but that can be cost prohibitive for most.
Other than that, I use Norton Ghost which creates a snapshot in time of your computer and archives it to disk or DVD. If you need to go back to that snapshot, you can use Ghost to do it. Through the use of incremental backup techniques, this can be an effective means of making your system robust.

I prefer use combination of freeware data recovery programs and doesn’t have a favorite programs. each program had plus excess and weakness. and I always choose portable version.

If you have a lot of free space on your hard drive and accidentally emptied only one or two items from your Recycling Bin, I’d recommend a small Windows program called Recuva.

If you want the best go with a professional data/file recover program such as the experts use. R-Studio Data recovery. This will recover everything.
